The Anchorage House is situated in the beautiful and historic North Carolina’s Crystal Coast town of Beaufort. Since 1525, seafarers have been drawn to the area beaches, historical sites, and wild horses of Shackelford and Carrot Island. For nearly 150 years, our lovely cottage has contributed to the charms of Beaufort. We invite you to make the Anchorage House your home in Beaufort as you sample the areas many attractions. The 1866 Gothic Revival cottage has many historic treasures such as heart pine floors, mahogany doors, archways and mantels. There are five bedrooms to choose from and all room rates include a full breakfast.

The Inn on Biltmore Estate is pleased to offer a variety of spa services in response to our guests' requests. Certified spa therapists offer massages and other services in our Spa Treatment Room, where we also have masques, cleansers, and other spa products available for purchase.
